Fundación Cepsa y la Delegación Territorial de Educación de la Junta de Andalucía en Cádiz han tenido una jornada de trabajo en la que se han abordado los diferentes programas formativos de Fundación Cepsa y en especial las becas Proformación destinadas a estudiantes de Formación Profesional, con el objetivo de que esta oportunidad llegue al mayor número posible de jóvenes que lo necesiten.
Al encuentro ha acudido el delegado territorial en funciones Miguel Andreu Estaún, acompañado del secretario general provincial, Francisco Lopez, la coordinadora de gabinete, Luisa Ruiz, y la técnica de Educación en el Campo de Gibraltar, Genoveva Lorenzo; mientras que por parte de Fundación Cepsa ha estado presente su responsable, Estrella Blanco. “Fundación Cepsa pretende con estas becas ayudar a las familias que lo necesiten en los gastos que supone estudiar la Formación Profesional y potenciar el tejido productivo y competitivo del Campo de Gibraltar, mejorando la cualificación y especialización en sectores de alto valor añadido”, ha señalado Estrella Blanco.
El periodo de solicitud de estas becas permanecerá abierto hasta el 22 de julio. Posteriormente, se llevará a cabo la selección de los beneficiarios, que será realizada por una secretaría técnica especializada y un comité de valoración compuesto por representantes de Cepsa y su fundación. En el proceso, se tendrá en cuenta el expediente académico y las circunstancias individuales (discapacidad, renta, etcétera) de los candidatos. La presentación de solicitudes a este programa de becas de FP se realizará a través de la página web de Fundación Cepsa
Una vez finalizado el encuentro, la comitiva de la Junta de Andalucía ha realizado una visita al Laboratorio donde han conocido de cerca las instalaciones, de mano de Mar Perrote, responsable de Servicios Analíticos de Cepsa, y de Guillermo Arteaga, responsable del Laboratorio de San Roque.
Fundación Cepsa es una entidad de interés general y sin ánimo de lucro que tiene como objetivo la realización de acciones destinadas a la atención de las necesidades y prioridades de las comunidades locales en las que su fundadora, Compañía Española de Petróleos S.A. (Cepsa), desarrolla sus actividades. Los ámbitos de actuación de Fundación Cepsa son de carácter social, medioambiental y científico-educativo.
