Dice el diccionario de la Real Academia Española: injuria. (Del lat. iniurĭa). 1. f. Agravio, ultraje de obra o de palabra. 2. f. Hecho o dicho contra razón y justicia. 3. f. Daño o incomodidad que causa algo. 4. f. Der. Delito o falta consistente en la imputación a alguien de un hecho o cualidad en menoscabo de su fama o estimación.
Y qué hacen cotidianamente algunas personas que se dedican a la política: ¿No hacen escarnio del adversario? ¿No ridiculizan al contrincante? ¿No hacen juicios de valor sobre intenciones inconfesables de sus oponentes? En definitiva se dedican a injuriar. ¿Sería posible que encontraran una manera de conducirse de forma correctamente humana? Pudiera ser que sí. –¡Amos!. ¿Ya encontró Vd. una fórmula mágica?, ¿Es Vd. un iluso?, ¿Piensa que determinadas personas a esas alturas pueden cambiar? La posibilidad de cambio hipotéticamente es posible, aunque en determinados casos esas posibilidades acaban siendo calculadas en números infinitesimales.
No obstante pudiera haber alguna, por pequeña que parezca, si entre quienes asisten, expectantes a estos espectáculos bochornosos, deciden NO VOTAR a quienes así se comportan. Porque la pregunta esencial es ¿Qué de bueno sacan ellos de este tipo de comportamiento? Piensan estas criaturas que injuriando a sus “adversarios” obtienen ventaja, porque los votantes dejaran de confiar en la persona injuriada. Si el costo, de mantener esa inaceptable conducta, es cero, y quien la desarrolla creer obtener algún beneficio, la conducta se refuerza. De esta forma la inacción de muchos apuntala el inaceptable comportamiento de un puñado de injuriosos políticos o “civiles”, que de todo hay.
En fechas electorales bien está el hacer alguna referencia a la política, sin embargo no se confunda el respetable, que las injurias evidentemente en la “vida civil” no son raras, más bien frecuentes. Y parafraseando la letra que escribiera va para 50 años, Atahualpa Yupanqui, en su “Canción del payador perseguido” (1974), “-La injuria es yuyo malo que envenena toda huerta, es preciso estar alerta manejando el azadón, pero no falta varón (persona) que la riega hasta en su puerta-“. Porque el origen del hábito de injuriar se adquiere desde la más tierna infancia cuando se miente, como todos los defectos que cada ser humano va desarrollando, ya que nadie nace mentiroso, asesino, estafador… Las conductas humanas se construyen, se van haciendo conforme se crece y se interactúa con el medio humano en el que se desarrolla.
Los reforzadores de esas mentiras son los beneficios que se obtienen. ¡Que mi hermano me pega!, ¡Que me ha quitado el postre!, ¡Que yo no he sido, ha sido ese o esa!.. Y quienes escuchan las mentiras injuriosas se conforman con no darle importancia y evitar el “conflicto”. Que fulano se ha quedado con dinero ajeno, que mató a otra persona, que violentó a aquellas, que chantajeó a estas otras… ¡Suena la campana! ¡Premio! para esas personas adultas que se despreocupan en esclarecer y desenmascarar las infantiles pequeñas mentiras, y las toleran despreocupadamente.
A partir de ahí esas personas mentirosas e injuriosas no tienen escrúpulos para imputar a otras personas un hecho o cualidad en menoscabo de su fama o estimación, con el malévolo propósito de obtener a cambio un beneficio, aunque sea su el culto a un ego que no les cabe en el cuerpo. Quienes asisten a estos espectáculos, donde la mentira y la injuria son las estrellas, tienen la posibilidad de intervenir, aunque sea algo desagradable, no con el ánimo de impartir justicia, sino simple y llanamente para exigir a quien menoscaba la fama de otros a que demuestre lo que afirma o calle. Oír injurias como el que oye llover es una de las razones de que los injuriosos campen por sus respetos. En todo lugar y tiempo, aunque en campaña electoral se hacen más mediáticas.
