El PSOE de Algeciras ha alcanzado, a través del diálogo, el consenso necesario para centrar sus esfuerzos, desde la unidad, en conseguir la alcaldía de Algeciras. Con el convencimiento de convertirse en el instrumento útil de la ciudadanía, los socialistas algecireños centrarán todos sus esfuerzos en esta tarea, a fin de acabar con el abandono y la falta de gestión que actualmente padece la ciudad, a causa del gobierno “falto de ideas y de ganas” de José Ignacio Landaluce.
Las últimas conversaciones mantenidas entre la actual secretaria general del PSOE algecireño, Rocío Arrabal, y el hasta ahora portavoz del Grupo Municipal, Juan Lozano, han permitido salvar las diferencias surgidas en los últimos tiempos y que dieron lugar a algunos problemas, que afortunadamente se han superado desde el diálogo y la inteligencia política, y priorizando, por encima de todo, el bien común.
Una vez, pues, alcanzado este consenso, se va a registrar en el Ayuntamiento de Algeciras el relevo de la portavocía del Grupo Municipal Socialista, que pasará a asumir el concejal y secretario de Organización, Francisco Fernández Marín, junto a dos viceportavocías, Urbanismo y Hacienda, que asumirán los concejales Fernando Silva y Daniel Moreno, respectivamente. El acuerdo alcanzado conlleva el archivo del procedimiento disciplinario abierto ante los órganos competentes del partido, y que también afectaba a otras dos ediles del grupo municipal.
La secretaria general agradece a todos los compañeros y compañeras el consenso alcanzado en el seno de la agrupación para solucionar las diferencias internas, no solo por el bien del PSOE de Algeciras, sino también por el de la propia ciudadanía algecireña, que necesita de un partido unido y centrado en la resolución de los numerosos problemas que aquejan a la ciudad.
“El acuerdo logrado es la consecuencia de colocar los intereses del PSOE y de la ciudadanía por encima de cualquier planteamiento personal”, ha manifestado la secretaria general de la agrupación, que agradece a Juan Lozano, también presidente de la Mancomunidad de Municipios del Campo de Gibraltar, su trabajo en la portavocía del Ayuntamiento algecireño durante estos últimos años.
“Desde el respeto a la discrepancia y a las distintas sensibilidades existentes en el seno de nuestro partido, que siempre ha estado marcado por la pluralidad, todos hemos coincidido en la necesidad de dar paso a una nueva etapa, en la que podamos centrarnos en trabajar, desde la unidad, por un objetivo común, de cara a las próximas elecciones municipales: recuperar la alcaldía de Algeciras y que nuestra ciudad, que está abandonada, vuelva a contar con un nuevo gobierno socialista, preocupado por mejorar la vida de la gente”, concluye la secretaria general.
