El Consejo de Administración de la Autoridad Portuaria Bahía de Algeciras (APBA) ha aprobado en sesión ordinaria el proyecto de Plan de Empresa para 2023 mediante un documento que recoge una larga batería de bonificaciones que supondrán unos descuentos a sus clientes que ascienden a 19 millones de euros.
En una nota, la APBA informa de que el Plan de Empresa contiene un alza inversora de la institución para los próximos años, en los que tendrán gran protagonismo los proyectos puerto-ciudad y los destinados a reforzar la sostenibilidad y la competitividad del puerto.
Así, el Plan de Empresa de la APBA prevé una inversión de la institución para el año que viene de más de 87 millones de euros, mientras que a medio plazo, en el periodo 2023-2026, asciende a 316 millones de euros para esos 4 años, ha destacado.
En este sentido, casi 60 millones de euros irán destinados a iniciativas puerto-ciudad, con el proyecto del Lago Marítimo como principal baluarte y la regeneración y estabilización de la Playa del Rinconcillo de Algeciras; o el acondicionamiento de La Caleta, en Tarifa.
Según el Consejo del Puerto de Algeciras, otros 100 millones de euros estarán destinados a mejorar las infraestructuras portuarias, destacando en esta partida el proyecto de la nueva alineación del muelle interior de la Dársena de Galera y nuevas explanadas de interconexión con Isla Verde, ha indicado.
Por volumen, ha señalado, destacan las partidas destinadas a Sostenibilidad, con más de 35 millones de euros que permitirán el inicio de los trabajos para implantar el OPS (OnShore Power Suply) en los muelles de Algeciras y Tarifa, la instalación de energía fotovoltaica en los edificios de la APBA o la extensión de la tecnología LED a todo el alumbrado de los recintos de Algeciras, Tarifa y Campamento.
El Plan de Empresa ha detallado los descuentos que aplicará el año que viene la APBA a sus clientes. Entre estas bonificaciones destacan la tasa al buque y las mercancías de hasta el 60% para impulsar el tráfico de contenedores de transbordo; del 30% a la tasa de la mercancía a los contenedores de import/export, o del 30% a la tasa de ocupación de las terminales de contenedores.
En línea con la Estrategia Verde de la APBA, las bonificaciones han incorporado reducciones de la tasa al buque del 40% a las naves que utilicen combustibles alternativos, como el GNL; y del 40% a la tasa de la mercancía de importación/exportación que acceda o salga del Puerto de Algeciras en ferrocarril.
También se beneficiarán de bonificaciones tanto a las tasas al buque como de la mercancía los tráficos de pasaje y carga con Ceuta (25%) o los tráficos de Bahía (40%) entre otros, ha concluido.
